Big City Fishing is a series of 13 half-hour shows broadcast on the World Fishing Network. The series highlights urban fishing adventures in and around the major cities throughout North America. Big City Fishing will feature accessible locations for family fishing in their own backyard. No other fishing show is dedicated to anglers that live in large cities with a limited budget.
In todays economic climate, many anglers are unable to afford expensive bass boats or travel to remote fishing lodges and exotic locations. Anglers, young and old, are looking for inexpensive alternatives.
Some of the greatest fishing in Canada and the U.S. are located within a short drive of major urban centers and can be experienced right from the shore. No boat, no expensive special equipment, just a rod, a reel and fishing know-how. A family fun fishing day awaits!
Watch the show and see how host Amanda Plewes shows you some great techniques and enjoy a similar Big City fishing experience tomorrow.
