Original Recipe by Grill Master Steve Adams
Reef and Beef Stroganoff (serves 4)
1 mahi mahi fillet (skin off)
1 Black River Angus Beef Steak
4 cooked extra large shrimp, tail on
4 cups cooked egg noodles
Stroganoff Sauce
1 cup mushrooms sliced
1 clove of garlic minced
1 medium onion diced
1 Tbsp butter
1 cup beef broth
1 dash of Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp flour
1 cup sour cream
1 Tbsp of fresh chopped herbs as garnish
4 cups of hot cooked egg noodles
Sauté garlic, onions and mushrooms in butter
Stir beef broth into mixture and simmer for 5 minutes
Stir in Worcestershire sauce and sour cream
Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
Grill
Preheat grill to medium high heat, brush grill with oil just before grilling
Lightly sprinkle fish with kosher salt and grill over medium direct heat (350-375) until the fish flakes with a fork. Slice fish into thin strips just before serving
Grill steak for 2-3 minutes per side, slice into thin strips just before serving
To serve
Arrange warm fish, shrimp and steak strips on hot noodles
Pour warm stroganoff sauce over noodles
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and more fresh ground pepper if desired
Serve a couple of grilled vegetable skewers as a perfect accompaniment to the stroganoff
